Yes. ItaSign is a QTSP (Qualified Trust Service Provider) certified by the Italian Digital Agency (AgID). Our QES signatures have legal value equivalent to handwritten signatures in Italy and throughout Europe, as required by the eIDAS regulation.

No. ItaSign works entirely through a web browser. No software to install, no plugins required.

Yes. SES and AdES signatures are free and unlimited. You can test the entire platform without spending anything. To test QES at no cost, we offer a sandbox environment.

SES (Simple Electronic Signature): admissible, limited probative weight, used for internal documents. AdES (Advanced Electronic Signature): enhanced legal value according to art. 26 eIDAS, used for B2B contracts. QES (Qualified Electronic Signature): equivalent to handwritten signature, used for official documents, public administration, real estate.

QES is recommended when: the document has high economic value, there may be legal disputes, it is required by law (e.g. notarial deeds), you sign with public administration, or you want maximum legal security.

AdES-T is an AdES signature with the addition of a qualified timestamp. It certifies not only who signed, but also when. Useful for documents that need to prove the signing date over time (contracts, intellectual property).

Yes, it is admissible as evidence in court. However, it has lower probative weight compared to AdES and QES. For important documents, we recommend at least AdES.

SES: Free, unlimited. AdES: Free, unlimited. AdES-T: €0.25 per document. QES: €0.55 per document. No subscription, no minimum.

No. The price you see is what you pay. No 'setup fee', no costs for additional users, no extras for APIs.

No. ItaSign works on a pay-per-use basis. You only pay when you use paid signatures (AdES-T and QES). Don't sign, don't pay.

No. You can buy even a single QES signature for €0.35.

Discounts are applied automatically based on monthly volume: 51-200 docs (-10% AdES-T, -14% QES), 201-500 docs (-20% AdES-T, -29% QES), 501-1000 docs (-30% AdES-T, -43% QES), 1000+ (contact us for custom pricing).

No, prices on the website are VAT excluded. VAT is added to the invoice.

Yes, we issue electronic invoices via SDI with all tax details.

QES signatures are recognized in all 27 EU countries thanks to the eIDAS regulation. For non-EU countries, it depends on bilateral agreements.
